This is Leslie Mayo with a Hotline correction for July 30, 2007.

The dollar amount of OSHA fines against AA was reported on last week's hotline as nearly $1/4 of a billion. The correct amount is nearly $1/4 of a million; five times the amount of the average OSHA fine levied against an airline.

It is highly likely that my confusion stemmed from the dollar amount of bonuses senior management was rewarded in April with the dollar amount they will owe if these fines are levied following management's appeals.

Nevertheless, all of this money comes out of our company's bottom line thanks to senior management's carelessness.

Please stay on the line for the rest of this week's HotLine.
