For us, September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as the day we lost thirteen of our finest aboard American flights 11 and 77. I didn't know personally any of the flight attendants who died on September 11. Having attended memorials both in Boston and in D.C.I can tell you that those who did testified to just how special our colleagues were.
