Email the APFA Ballot Committee: ballot@apfa.org APFA Treasurer Runoff Ballot Official Results APFA National Treasurer Run-Off Candidate Information Miami Vice Chairperson Candidate Information July 29, 2010 APFA NATIONAL TREASURER ELECTION The National Ballot Committee along with BallotPoint Election Services certified the results of the APFA Treasurer election on June 24, 2010. Steven Baumert received 1289 votes, Alexis Boilini received 972 votes, Rodney McGinn received 199 votes, Samuel Morales received 395 votes and Michael Parker received 1142 votes. The Official Results are posted here. Since no candidate received 50% plus 1 of the valid votes counted there will be a Run-Off election between the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes. Therefore, Steven Baumert and Michael Parker will be in a Run-Off election. Ballots will be mailed to all APFA members on July 3 , 2010 and are due with polls closing by 1000 CT on August 2, 2010. Today, June 10, 2010 , Willingness-to-Serve Notifications for the position of MIA Vice Chairperson were due in the designated post office box. Notifications were received from two (2) candidates: Michelle Bernstein and Terrence Kelly Williams. Ballots for the MIA Vice Chairperson election will be mailed on Tuesday June 29, 2010 with ballots due and polls closing at 10:00 am on July 29, 2010. DUES STATUS FOR VOTING ELIGIBILITY All members are reminded that you must be a member in good standing not later than the close of business on the fifth (5th) day prior to the time limit for the casting ballots of any election or referendum in order to be deemed eligible to vote. STRIKE AUTHORIZATION BALLOT The Strike Authorization Ballots were counted this morning and Flight Attendants overwhelmingly voted YES to approve a strike authorization – 90% of the membership voted – 96.7% voted YES.
