In existence since 1998, the APFA Archives is a collection of materials from every department at APFA as well as donations from current and retired Flight Attendants. From administrative, legal and fiscal files, negotiations, contracts, historical document, Flight Attendant graduation photos to uniforms from decades past, the APFA Archives tells the story of not only APFA, but also the Flight Attendant profession. It serves as a resource for negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, and daily union operations. The APFA Archives maintains a working relationship with the University of Texas at Arlington Library and Archives and UTA provides a permanent home for our collection. In progress is a project to digitize the over one and a half million document pages in the Archives in order to preserve and protect our history as the largest independent Flight Attendant union in the nation.
