We’ve lost 17 of our brothers and sisters as a result of yesterday’s tragic events. They will all be sorely missed. On behalf of APFA and our Officers and Representatives, I would like to extend our most sincere condolences to all the family and friends of our fallen co-workers. As flight attendants, we’re part of a larger airline family and our sympathies extend to all those touched by yesterday’s horrible tragedies, including the Crew members from United Flights #175 and #93. An additional 12 flight attendants and 4 pilots were killed in those two incidents. My personal thanks go to the Leadership of the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) for working jointly with us in various areas to best assist our respective members during this very difficult time.
