APFA May 11th Lobby Day

By now, all of you should have received the most recent InfoRep mailing, which included a letter from our National Officers and We’re Restless bagtags. Additionally, the new Skyword Express should be arriving in your mailboxes soon. This inaugural edition deals solely with legislative issues. Please bring it with you to our Fly-In on May 11th in Washington, D.C.

It is very important for all of you who are planning to attend the Lobby Day to go to www.www.apfa.org and follow the links to sign up.

Here are the details for the 11th:

Arrive in DC on May 11th in the morning.

If you are flying into DCA Reagan Airport, take the Blue Metro Line. Get off at the Capital South Metro Stop. The Hall is at 3rd and D Streets. The Metro stop is at 1st and D or a two-block walk.

Meet with APFA representatives and members at 10:00 a.m. at the American Legion Hall, Post 8, 224 D Street, SE, Capital Hill, Washington, D.C.

During this briefing time, we will provide you with your appointments and also with additional directions and instructions. We will make sure everyone is on the same page regarding the points we need to get across to our lawmakers.

Please wear your uniform! Comfortable walking shoes would be wise!
