As announced yesterday, the company will be notifying the 410 most junior Flight Attendants that they are subject to furlough effective April 1, 2009.

In accordance with Article 16 of the contract, the following will be proffered to help mitigate the possibility of Flight Attendant furloughs:

Overage Leaves ñ Deadline Friday, March 6, 2009 0900 CDT
Partnership Flying ñ Deadline Friday, March 6, 2009 0900 CDT

Additionally, the Company is renewing the offer of the Travel Separation Program to eligible Flight Attendants.

Travel Separation ñ Deadline Thursday, March 5, 2009 2300 CDT

We encourage anyone able and willing to take advantage of one of these options to do so.

Attached to this Hotline are two (2) documents: 1. An overview of the various options being offered to mitigate the possibility of Flight Attendant Furloughs. 2. Document outlining how overage leaves are awarded.
