Special Update for May 30, 2009

Mediation continued in Washington D.C. during the week, and we were able to sign off on one article, Article 10- Reserve. After our last scheduled mediated session, the company clearly demonstrated that they are unwilling to give us the contract we deserve. Although we are, once again, disappointed, we are determined to continue our fight to secure a long overdue contract. It is imperative that we stand together and show American Airlines that we are solidly behind this effort. THE COMPANY DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE RESOLVE OF OUR MEMBERS. Together, we must prove them wrong!
