Special ‘new retail initiatives’ InfoRep Hotline ñ 06.04.09
Click here for a PDF copy of a letter, delivered to the company yesterday, from APFA President Laura Glading addressing the recent HI6 message announcing the ënew retail initiativesÃ.
As you can read in the letter, it is APFAÃs firm position that any form of a Flight AttendantÃs pay or work rules may not be unilaterally implemented.
Spread the word for members to watch for instructions coming in the mail on how you can help us send a clear message to management.
All members will be mailed a copy of the letter to the company, along with a document containing the HI6 message stamped with ëNEGOTIATE ITà (click here for b/w copy). We are asking that everyone return that page to your Flight Service Manager by hand delivery or by mail as soon as possible. We need to show management that Flight Attendant pay and work rules must be negotiated. Period.
Please plan, and encourage all members, to attend one of the upcoming Base Membership Outreach Meetings. Much information will be delivered during these meetings and we need every member informed and engaged. Now more than ever we need to show the company that we are unified. Visit www.www.apfa.org for a list of meeting times and locations.
