Update for January 13, 2010

The APFA Negotiating Team entered two weeks of intense negotiations this week.

We will demonstrate our solidarity and strength, with a System Wide Turnaround. For ONE DAY, Tuesday, January 19th, Flight Attendants will turn the disks under their APFA pins around, to display the RED ëGot Gutsí side. All Flight Attendants working a flight that day are expected to participate.

This is not a job action; it is a simple show of solidarity. All Flight Attendants will work as scheduled.

Spread the word. Please turn your discs to Red for the day on Tuesday, January 19th, and return to Yellow on Wednesday, January 20th.

We have ordered additional disks and APFA Reps will be at the airports leading up to and on the 19th to distribute.

If you would like to volunteer to help distribute disks at your base, beginning this weekend, please contact your Chairperson or Vice Chairperson.
