3.16.10 – (LAA) – APFA Files for Release into 30-Day Cooling Off Period
HotLine Update for March 16 – APFA files for release into 30-day cooling off period
APFA President Laura Glading met with the three-member National Mediation Board at approximately 1pm EDT today, Tuesday, March 16.
APFA’s request for release into a 30-day cooling off period was made at that time. The Board indicated they would review the request and will forward a copy to American management.
The precise timeline is unknown but it is expected that American will have a couple weeks to reply and comment. We expect a decision from the NMB by mid-April after they have fully considered our request and AA’s response.
