APFA Hotline – Flight Attendants Commended by Rep. Nancy Pelosi on House Floor
House of Representatives Honors Flight Attendants
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, (D-CA), spoke on the House floor this morning about the Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash, and more extensively about the heroic flight attendants and their role in saving so many lives.
“But for now, I wanted not another day to go by before commending the crew. They performed just so heroically. The crew was so magnificent and the reminder to us that the first responsibility of the crew is safety, that they are trained for it and they performed magnificently and the flight attendant, one of the flight – the lead flight attendant was the last person to leave the plane, not until everyone else was off.
APFA’s consultant Peter Goelz of O’Neill and Associates, appeared on CNN yesterday. Peter is the former managing director of the NTSB. O’Neill, a D.C.-based lobby firm, has worked for APFA for several years and is the best in the business.
