FACT:
CLA = Conditional Labor Agreement The CLA, also known as the US Airways Bridge Agreement, was agreed to with US Airways management in secret negotiations last April 2012 while AA management was busy trying to ram the 1113 Term Sheets down our throats. The CLA will begin to take effect on the day we exit bankruptcy and merge with US Airways. We will then begin negotiations for a new contract soon thereafter.
 
Q&As
Q: Is the SJU (San Juan, PR) base opening up for flight attendants?
A: The Company to date has NOT informed APFA of any base openings, including SJU.
 
Q: One of my co-workers keeps telling me that under the current contract in place all of the new-hires will be paid according to a NEW PAY-SCALE which will only top out at $24 per hour.  Can you please confirm or deny the implementation of C-scale for new-hires?
A: The current contract pay scale for ALL years of service is listed in the LBFO. Please refer to the Supplemental On Duty Contract Guide (ODCG) There is NO C-scale.
You can also refer to Article 3 – Compensation, of the LBFO to view the chart with current pay scale steps 1-15 (1^st – 15^th year).
