JNC – Negotiations Update
Following approvals by the APFA Board of Directors (BOD) and the AFA Master Executive Council (MEC), the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) sent 10 articles/sections the team agreed to ‘Adopt and Go’ to the company as a preliminary proposal. We are awaiting the company’s response. Our first in-person meeting with company representatives will be on April 24, 2014.

In the coming weeks, members of the JNC will be visiting Flight Attendant operations/crew rooms at pre-merger American and pre-merger US Airways bases around the system to answer members’ questions. The first round of JNC visits will begin the week of April 28, 2014, and continue into the week of May 5, 2014. The schedule of specific base visits will be forthcoming.

In addition, APFA President Laura Glading and AFA MEC President Roger Holmin have scheduled visits in CLT on May 5, and PHL on May 6, 2014. Additional base visits will be scheduled as time permits.
