US Airways Flight 445 – safety@apfa.org
On Wednesday, March 3, 2015, immediately after landing in Denver, smoke filled the cabin of US Airways Flight 445, an A321. The four Flight Attendants working the flight successfully evacuated the smoky aircraft using seven of eight slides. Only a few passengers sustained minor injuries – none that required hospitalization. The NTSB is investigating the incident and initial reports indicate that there was not a fire on board.
