Telephone Town Hall Meeting – LAA/LUS
APFA National President Marcus Gluth, National Officers & Department Chairs, along with members of Joint Scheduling Implementation Committee (JSIC), will be hosting a Telephone Town Hall Conference on Tuesday, November 17th at 4pm EST (3pm CST/1pm PST). The telephone conference will consist of a short presentation followed by a live Questions and Answers session, focusing on Contract implementation of the 2014 Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA).
All members are welcome to join the call. The Town Hall Conference call-in number is 855-269-4484.
Willingness-to-Serve – National Officer Elections – LAA/LUS
The National Ballot Committee (NBC) has posted the Willingness-to-Serve for the positions of National President, National Vice President, National Secretary and National Treasurer on the APFA website. All Willingness-to-Serves must be in the designated PO Box, found at the bottom of the form, by 1000 CT, November 20, 2015. Ballots for the National Officer election will be mailed to members on December 10, 2015 and votes must be cast by 1000 CT, January 9, 2016.

ROTA Award Processing Email – LUS
The Reserve Open Time Award (ROTA) Processing email sent to LUS Reserves is incorrectly indicating a departure time instead of a report time. The correction to the email message is in testing phases. Until the correction is announced, please double-check your assignment in CATS to confirm the correct report time.
2016 Benefits Enrollment Summary – LAA/LUS
2016 Benefits Enrollment ended on October 23rd.
76.2% of all eligible LAA Flight Attendants enrolled for 2016. Those eligible LAA Flight Attendants along with their eligible dependents who elected not to enroll or opt out, will continue on their current benefit plan for 2016.
92.6% of all eligible LUS Flight Attendants enrolled for 2016. Those eligible LUS Flight Attendants along with their eligible dependents who elected not to enroll or opt out, will automatically be enrolled into the Core Plan medical option, Dental coverage option #2, and their 2015 voluntary benefits.
Please take a few moments and review your benefit enrollment selections and to make sure your beneficiaries are updated. Go to my.aa.com and follow these steps:

VEX Requests for January Vacations Touching End of December – LUS
Any LUS Flight Attendant with January 2016 vacation that would entitle them to Vacation Extension (VEX) days which would touch the end of December 2015 will be given a special exception period to request those days.
The VEX Form on Wings is available now through 1700 EST / 1500 MST on Saturday, Nov. 7. This exception is ONLY for early January 2016 vacation awards which would result in VEX days being placed in December 2015.
Flight Attendants who have January 2016 vacation that would result in all VEX days falling in January can submit VEX requests Dec. 1 – 7.
