APFA Retirement Specialist, Patrick Hancock, will be hosting another Retirement Seminar here in PHL on Wednesday, March 30th, from 12pm to 4pm, in the Tour Room. The Tour Room is located inside security, between concourses C & D. This is an incredibly informative meeting for anyone who is ready to retire, contemplating retirement, or preparing to retire in a few years. You may email Patrick with any questions at [email protected].
Air Quality/Fume Events
If you are involved in a possible Air Quality event, please file the appropriate forms and contact your base representatives immediately. Mary Lynn Gardner is our PHL Air Quality Safety Specialist, who volunteers her time to help. When our office is notified of a possible fume event, we reach out to Mary Lynn, and she takes over contacting the crew on behalf of the Union. This is her specialty. She is a wealth of knowledge, and has many years of experience in dealing with Air Quality and Fume events. Remember, you should always seek medical attention immediately if you feel you have been exposed to toxic fumes.
Last CLT Crew News
Doug Parker will be hosting the final Crew News at the CLT Training Center on March 17th beginning at 11:30am. You do not have to have CQT that day to attend. Your AA Badge will be required at the check- in desk to attend this Crew News.
2016 Democratic National Convention
The 2016 Democratic National Convention will be held in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center from July 25-28, 2016. It is still a few months away, but it’s important to plan our commutes accordingly.
In Unity and Solidarity,
APFA PHL Base President
