Time Accrued Reserve Assignment SystemÂ
LAA Crew Schedule discovered a problem this morning with the system that assigns reserves (Time Accrued Reserve Assignment System (TARS). Currently, TARS will not pull the unassigned list and will not plot assignments for DFW only. IT has been working all day to resolve it but is not certain it will be corrected by 1700. Crew Schedule intends to hand plot the Standbys in the next few hours and may have to assign the reserves manually. This means that preferences cannot be processed and the assignments will most likely be completed later than normal. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved and these issues will be avoided.
