Profit Sharing Q & As Posted on Jetnet – LAA/LUS

Despite the continued hardships faced by Flight Attendants in 2016, our hard work contributed to the second most profitable year in American’s history, resulting in a profit sharing payout to be made in early March 2017.

The Company posted the formula used to calculate profit sharing payouts for 2016 on Jetnet. A basic approximation can be made by multiplying your eligible earnings by 3%. Example: If your eligible earnings for 2016 are $40,000, you would multiply that by 3%, for an approximate payout of $1,200.00 (before taxes.)

Please see the Q & As released today for more information on eligible earnings and 401K deferral options. Payments are anticipated to be made by March 10, 2017 for all U.S. based employees.
