LUS DCA Flight Attendants!

As my term as DCA-US Base President begins, I would like to thank Dianne M. Britton, outgoing DCA-US Base President, for her extraordinary union service and her dedication to the Flight Attendants. Her passion and unionism never wavered, no matter how tough the conditions were. As her term comes to an end and I begin as your new duly elected president, I would like to let you know that I will continue to represent your union needs to the best of my ability. My passion and desire to represent you is strong… together, we can make great strides going forward, in facing what could be our biggest challenges yet.
 
I have selected Lori Vitto-Glattly as Base Vice President. Her commitment to serving you, the members, is also very strong. Lori has many strengths to fill this position. Her work on Government Affairs is her passion, and she is an asset to our work group with her knowledge of PBS and her past experience as a local base president.  

APFAs policy states that each base is permitted to have one Base Council Representative (BCR) for every 100 Flight Attendants at the base. DCA-US is afforded 5 BCRs.
  
Christine Kolackovsky and Walter Davis were duly elected as they submitted Willingness to Serve (WTS) applications.

Claudia Frye will continue as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Representative, along with Walter. If anyone has a special skill set and is interested in involvement with base council work, please let me know of your interest.
 
We are also pleased to have Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) member, Litra Simms at our base. She is the team base coordinator for DCA, BOS, and RDU. The 24/7 hotline number is 1-800-998-8194
