The APFA Executive Committee held a special meeting via teleconference May, 1, 2017. In accordance with the APFA Policy Manual, the Official Minutes of the meeting are now available on the APFA website.

Executive Committee Meeting Announcement – LAA/LUS
The 1Q17 Executive Committee meeting will be held May 18 – 19, 2017 at APFA HDQ in the Unity Pays Conference Room from 0900 – 1700 CT. All members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Crew Security Website – LAA/LUS
As a reminder, the AA Crew Security Website is a valuable resource to stay up to date on the latest security related information for flight crews. It’s a good idea to check the site prior to each trip.

May and June Retirement Seminars – LAA/LUS
Ron Harris and Patrick Hancock from the APFA Retirement Department will be on the road in May and June for retirement seminars in Chicago, Miami, Charlotte, and Washington (DCA).
- Thursday, May 25th – Chicago – Flight Service Conference Room in K19 Operations
- Friday, May 26th – Miami – Flight Service Conference Room in the Main Operations area in Concourse D.
- Monday, June 19th – Charlotte – Conference Room located above the Food Court
- Wednesday, June 21st – Washington D.C. (DCA) – Center Pier Meeting Room
The Chicago and Miami seminars are scheduled from 1000-1300 LBT. The Charlotte and Washington D.C. seminars are scheduled from 1100-1400 LBT.
These informative seminars cover a wide range of topics including retiree travel benefits, 401(k), pensions, COBRA insurance and Medicare.
Legacy AA Flight Attendants can print a copy of their pension estimate from the Pension Service Center link in Jetnet, or request a copy by calling (800)447-2000.
Legacy US Flight Attendants can request an estimate either by calling the PBGC at (800)400-7242 or visiting http://mypba.pbgc.gov.
All members are welcome to attend, regardless of base or seniority. It’s never too early to start planning for retirement!
