Statement by APFA President Bob Ross re:
Incident on American Airlines Flight to Honolulu
EULESS, TEXAS (May 20, 2017) – The following statement is from the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) National President, Bob Ross:
“Passengers aboard yesterday’s American Airlines flight to Honolulu are saying that Flight Attendants were ‘heroic’ in coping with a disruptive and possibly dangerous passenger. We’re proud of our professional Flight Attendants, who took prompt, effective action to defuse a high-risk situation, allowing all on board to land safely. This is another example of the roles our nation’s Flight Attendants play each day as first responders and the last line of defense on commercial aircraft.”
