8.29.17 – Update on Hurricane Harvey

Hello DFW!
It has been a busy couple of weeks –Hurricane Harvey, reassignments, Crew Schedule and Crew Tracking Issues.
We would like to give you a quick update on Hurricane Harvey
AA operated a humanitarian flight on 28AUG- IAH-DFW
We had 29 Crew Members loaded on the flight to DFW.
We have 1 Crew Member leaving today on a flight.
HOU and IAH will be closed for revenue service until Thursday at 12 NoonÂ
Only Military and Humanitarian flights are being accepted at IAH
MSY– Rainfall of 3-6 inches are expected in the next few days, AA is working on moving all crews from the long layover hotel to the short layover hotel.
SAT– Airport is open and operational.
AUS– Staffing is  adequate- the vendors are open in the airport. There are a few leaks inside the terminal. There is some flooding about 30 minutes outside AUS.
