Recognizing the Heroes of US Air Flight 5050

Today we honor and recognize the Flight Attendants of US Air Flight 5050.

On September 20, 1989, Flight 5050 from LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte, crashed during an aborted takeoff.  The flight was carrying 57 passengers and 6 crew.  Thanks to the heroic efforts of the four Flight Attendants on board that evening there were 61 survivors.

On this 28th anniversary of the accident, APFA acknowledges these Flight Attendants for their bravery in the most difficult of circumstances.
