CLARIFICATION on Tablet Access to Crew Portal & ROTA  

Friday’s DCA-US Base Brief reported that Flight Attendants could access Crew Portal and ROTA via the tablet in-flight. Currently, access to Crew Portal and ROTA on the Flight Attendant Tablet is only available via ground (WiFi or cellular access). Unfortunately, at this time, in-flight access is not available to apps other than “MyFlight” due to limitations on third-party provider in-flight bandwidth.

As networks are enhanced in the future, the company will pursue expanding access to other apps. The ultimate goal is to give crew members access to all the tools needed in-flight.
