1.05.18 – Message from Your Interim Base President

My fellow colleagues,

My name is Raymond Lewis, and I am proud to serve as your interim Base President for LGA. I apologize that it has taken me some time to reach out to you, but since taking office on January 1st, I’ve hit the ground running and already have quite a few cases on my desk.

For those of you that don’t know me, I have worked with APFA as a Base representative since 2008.

I am pleased to have appointed Cathy Ryder as the Interim LGA Base Vice President. Cathy has been a Flight Attendant with American since 1989 and has been based at LGA for 7 years. She, along with our current roster of base representatives and new representatives, will be invaluable in assisting with the volume of cases at our base.

I maintain an open door policy with all Flight Attendants. If you have any questions or need assistance with an issue, please do not hesitate to contact either one of us directly.

I look forward to meeting those of you I don’t know and seeing everyone soon, as we work hard to achieve a smooth transition during this interim period at LGA.
