7.13.18 – (LAA/LUS) – London Protests/Demonstrations

London Protests/Demonstrations

APFA has been made aware of protest/demonstration alerts this weekend in Central London.

While the protests/demonstrations are not located near our layover hotels, please expect larger crowds and perhaps road closures near and around the Central London area.

 Actions to Take:

  • Be aware of your surroundings: remain vigilant, maintain contact with a crewmember or family member. Apprise them of your whereabouts and expected return time.
  • Exercise caution at all times: keep a low profile, and stay together with fellow crewmembers when venturing away from the vicinity of the hotel.
  • Monitor local media and communications for updates.

As always, the US Embassy, in most countries, can be an immediate resource for American citizens abroad.
