APFA Member Call to Action!
DFW Area Event. The First in a Series of Member Actions.
Hello Fellow APFA Members,
In my hotline message to you last week, I asked you to be on High Alert. If you are in the DFW area this Thursday, August 30, you will get your first opportunity to join your Union Leaders and other APFA members to display your Unity and voice our collective concerns against the many issues facing our work group today. If you are in the DFW area, WE NEED YOU THERE! Can’t attend this one? Not to worry. Other action events are being planned for the future and coming to a Base City near you.
I would like to sincerely thank all of you who have taken the time to send emails and letters to AA management; for submitting the scheduling form; for sending us updates when things go wrong; for offering solutions and ideas; for your continued patience during these monumental changes we are experiencing. We hear you and we will make sure that AA hears you too. Wake Up American!
Among the Issues we are extremely concerned about:
- Improperly Programmed/Failed New Scheduling Systems
- Punitive Sick Policy
- Toxic Uniforms Still Making Us Sick
- Fume Events/Unhealthy Cabin Air
- Optimizer Creating Inhumane Work Conditions
