9.18.18 – JCBA PBS Bidding Timelines, Full Implementation, MobileCCI, Fall BOD Meeting

 

 

The final countdown has begun. The next two weeks are going to be very busy. We would like to remind you of a few important details:

September 2018 scheduling adjustments will continue to be accomplished through CATS and the LUS Crew Portal at crewportal.usairways.com. This includes ETB transactions as well as Reserve processing through ROTA. ISAP/ISAP AIL will also be used through the end of this month for September flying.

October 2018 scheduling adjustments will be accomplished through FOS and the JCBA Crew Portal at faportal.aa.com. Please see the following September 2018 calendar for dates and times for upcoming ROTA, TTS, and ETB openings and closings for the October bid month:

 

JCBA PBS Bidding Timelines

PBS Opens Monthly: 10th of the month at Noon (CT)
PBS Closes Monthly: 15th of the month at Noon (CT)
PBS Awards Visible in PBS: 18th of the month at Noon (CT)
PBS Awards Final: 20th of the month at Noon (CT)

Full Implementation of the JCBA

On October 1^st, there will no longer be an LUS and an LAA. We are going to identify bases by PBS bases and non-PBS bases. It has been a very long and exhausting road to get here, but it is finally here. The PBS bases will be fully JCBA compliant. Please continue to read all of the communications sent out via the APFA Hotlines. You may also go to the APFA.org website under the ‘JCBA’ tab for Hot Topics.
MobileCCI Arrives

MobileCCI will be our one stop shop for communication from the Company. You may download MobileCCI on your personal devices, and it is already available on your tablet. Click the links to download MobileCCI and MobileFOS, or go to Jetnet>Flight Service>Tools and Links.

Beginning October 1^st we will have the ability to check in for our trips via MobileCCI. In Philadelphia, we have been told that it will connect from any concourse once you clear security, and is available throughout the entire airport for those commuting.  Should you have any problems checking in using MobileCCI, you may still check in on the computers in the crew room. We also recommend you immediately call Crew Scheduling and the Flight Service Center to report the issue.

Flight Attendants that fly out of the Pittsburgh satellite will be able to check in using MobileCCI on the landside once you have cleared security. You may also check in from the airside of the terminal. Computers will still be available in the small crew room. If you experience any problems with checking in, call Crew Scheduling immediately.
Fall APFA BOD Meeting

The APFA Fall Board of Directors meeting will be October 9-10 at the Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown, located at 2950 CityPlace West Blvd., Dallas, TX 75204. All members in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend all open portions of the meeting.
