10.12.18 – Federal Air Marshal Service – Crew Member Self-Defense Training Program

Administered by the Federal Air Marshal Service, the Crew Member Self Defense Training (CMSDT) program is available to all actively employed or temporarily furloughed U.S. passenger and cargo crew members. The program, which is available at 22 sites nationwide, is delivered at FAM facilities across the nation. Crew members are encouraged to register to attend this 4-hour “hands-on” training developed by the FAMS to help prepare crew members to face potential threat situations – both on and off the aircraft. CMSDT is provided at no cost to crew members who are welcome to attend the training as often as desired. Please visit the link below for more information or to sign up for an upcoming class.
