Dear Philadelphia Flight Attendants:

It with deep admiration and a heavy heart that I have to announce to you that Rick Cangey will be resigning his position as PHL Vice President, effective April 1st with his transfer to LAX.  There are certainly not enough words to thank Rick for his years of dedicated service to our membership and our base.

On a personal note, it has been not only an honor but also a privilege to serve with Rick for the last ten years.  His work ethic, drive and dedication for our Flight Attendants are unsurpassed.  He not only has been my right hand man, he is a good friend, and I will miss him dearly.

Per the APFA Constitution, I am required to appoint a Vice President until an election can be held.  I am pleased to announce that I have appointed BCR Tracey Montanari, effective April 1st. Tracey brings quite a few years of experience to this position. She has been a BCR for the last six years. Additionally, she is on the National Hotel Committee, she has been our team leader for base mobilization, she is ADR/Grievance trained, and is a Purser.  She is very excited to move into this new role to serve the membership.

Beginning April 1st Tracey can be contacted at vpphl@apfa.org or 330-622-3444.  Thank you for you continued support of the base leadership- YOU are what makes us strong.
