Beginning Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1700 Central time, APFA Headquarters will be transitioning to a new cloud-based phone service and carrier. This outage is expected to last a minimum of three hours. During that time, you will not be able to contact APFA via phone nor leave voicemails.
Standard after hours support will be available as normal; Live Chat, Text messaging, and Facebook.
As you may have noticed over the past several months, calls from APFA to you have displayed a (682) area code. This will revert to (817) 540-0108, May 30th.
Beginning May 30th you will not be able to call the (682) area code. Please use (817) 540-0108. If you have captured the (682) area code telephone number and saved it to your cell phone, please delete any (682) number that you may have associated with APFA or change it to (817) 540-0108 to ensure your address book is accurate.
The switch to a new a carrier will dramatically improve the reliability of the phone system. The new system is cloud based, with many redundant backups which will seamlessly switch over without interruption to the membership.
