Happenings at Headquarters
Media Open House
Several members of the press were invited to Headquarters this morning for a Media Open House. APFA National President Lori Bassani fielded questions from WFAA, Ch 8, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Business Journal, Bloomberg, Associated Press, KRLD among others.
Interviews and discussions were held on a range of topics such as cabin air quality, 10-hour minimum rest, the 737 MAX, Flight Attendant Union Coalition, current labor relations and negotiations.
National Officers, Department Chairs and Specialists were in attendance as well APA’s Vice President.
When asked about the return of the Boeing 737 MAX, President Bassani stated, “Trust and confidence are two of our major concerns. Although we respect our highly skilled pilots, our 28,000 Flight Attendants are important stakeholders. As we make our determination, safety for our crew members and passengers is our highest priority.”
