Are You Retiring Today or Tomorrow?

Voluntary Early Out Program (VEOP)

If you notified your Flight Service Manager of your intention to retire on 3/31/20 or 4/1/20 and would prefer to put in for the updated VEOP Option that was announced yesterday evening, there is still time.

Review the new options carefully to make sure that this will be the best decision. Contact your Flight Service Manager ASAP if you choose to rescind your 3/31/20 or 4/1/20 retirement in order to take the new VEOP.

If you cannot reach your FSM, contact the MOD at your base and speak with someone. Remember to record the name of the person with whom you have spoken. Do not simply leave a voicemail message.
I have included a chart from jetnet with general information about the Company’s latest VEOP offering. Refer to jetnet and the Flight Service website for more specific information and Q&As.

While the APFA Retirement Department appreciates your questions regarding the VEOP and retirement, please refrain from sending multiple emails and voicemails. We are doing our best to assist and appreciate your patience and understanding.
