4.27.20 – Remembering AA Flight 625

Today, we pause to remember the crew and passengers aboard American Airlines Flight 625.
On April 27, 1976, the Boeing 727 operated from T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, with an intermediate stop at John F. Kennedy Airport, New York, NY. The aircraft overran the runway and crashed, while landing at the St. Thomas airport.
We remember the two Flight Attendants and 35 passengers who perished on this day 44 years ago.
