APFA Flight Attendants,
These are unprecedented times for our country and our industry. Your Union continues to work to protect your safety and livelihood. Your APFA leaders have been in numerous discussions with the Company and are pleased to announce we were able to ensure the following for our members:
April LOA Pay Protection Paycheck Update
Many of our Flight Attendants are awaiting payment for the April LOA pay protections. The Company originally stated that Flight Attendants would have this pay no later than May 30th. This was unacceptable. Following our numerous discussions, the Company has notified APFA that the paychecks for the money you are owed for the April bid month will be direct deposited on Monday, May 18th.
E190, 757, & 767 Removed from CQ Effective Friday, May 15th
As of Friday, May 15th, the Web-Based Training (WBT) and Drill requirements for the E190, 757, and 767 aircraft will be officially removed from the 2020-2021 CQ program.
Relaxed Outermost Garment Policy: May 1st through September 30th
From May 1st through September 30th, you will no longer be required to wear a jacket, vest, or sweater during boarding and deplaning. For now, these outermost garments will continue to be required when you are in uniform and not on the aircraft. APFA will continue to have discussions with the Company to further relax the requirements for outermost garments.
