11.27.20 – Extend PSP Action Week Starts Monday

Save Our Jobs – Support the Economy!

Next week will mark two months since American Airlines furloughed 7,985 APFA members. In addition, thousands of US aviation workers were also temporarily laid off due to the ongoing pandemic severely affecting the airline industry. With the US Presidential election behind us, we must demand that our Elected Representatives get back to work and extend the Payroll Support Program (PSP).

The White House has punted relief legislation to Congress. It is time to turn the heat on our Senators and Representatives to finally pass an extension of the PSP by any means possible. We need your help to get this done! Your activism is the pressure that is needed to pass an extension of the PSP.

Every one of us must be persistent and take action twice a day next week. Stay tuned for Monday’s APFA Government Affairs hotline on how you can do your part in getting this done!
