Employee Assistance Program and Professional Standards
The violence and hate displayed during the Capitol Building’s unlawful invasion on January 6th hit too close to home. It is hard not to still feel the impact.
For all of us, especially the 816 Washington Based Flight Attendants, we stand by to offer support.
Today, local DCA Professional Standards and Employee Assistance Program Representatives, APFA National PS Chair Jillian Bocenda, and Base President John Pennel met via video conference to discuss the additional resources available to those flying this week.
There have been ongoing coordinated efforts between APFA and American Airlines, DCA Flight Service, and your Base Leadership to ensure every Flight Attendant’s safety and well-being is addressed.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you or someone you know may need help navigating through these challenging times.
Here’s to smoother skies ahead!
