Save Our Jobs
Tell Congress to Continue the Payroll Support Program (PSP)

In December, Congress passed an emergency relief package that restored 7,985 Flight Attendant jobs at American Airlines. We are thankful that this legislation provided immediate and much-need relief, but we knew that we would likely have to refocus our efforts in 2021 to finish the job.

American Airlines announced that they might be sending out WARN Act notices soon, as required by law, before any potential mass layoff. Tell your Representatives that we cannot let the PSP lapse like it did in October. We need a seamless continuation of this successful jobs program that has kept us connected to our paycheck and healthcare. Contact the Representatives you vote for and make sure they are supporting you, your family, and your job.

As the airlines forecast the months ahead, our jobs, careers, and quality of life are on the line. Every single U.S. aviation worker will be affected somehow, from the most senior to the most junior. But as 24,000 strong, we can use our collective voice to ensure that the PSP continues beyond the March 31st expiration date. Take action today!

Hello, my name is ____________ and I am a constituent. I am an also American Airlines Flight Attendant and an APFA Union member.

Recently, American Airlines announced that they will likely have to send out WARN Act notices due to decreased demand for travel beyond April. With widespread vaccination finally in sight, continuing the Payroll Support Program will keep me flying and ensure that critical transportation and public health infrastructure remain in place.

This has been a tough year for my family and me, but we can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for helping aviation workers like me as we are just getting back on our feet.

In Solidarity,
