May 2021 Allocations
Philadelphia Flight Attendants,
It has been a long time coming, and we are not there yet, but we will see a block hour increase of 56% for May. Our 1-day turns are back, and AMS will be joining LHR and DUB on the IPD schedule. The sit times are slightly down but still high. We do not have any ODANs back yet; hopefully, when the last bank of flying returns, we will see some ODANs.
We will see some good domestic wide-body flying.
Our staffing has increased for May. We are happy to welcome back our final 447 recalled Flight Attendants who will be in flying status for May. We do have a good number of people returning from the 12-month leaves as well. These are all good things- it means PHL is trending in the right direction. We are slowly starting to see a good recovery from the last year.
Below is all the staffing and allocations information:
- The system line average is projected at 78.7.
- The Reserve percentage systemwide to 19.8%.
- We have an increase in block hours for May. Our total block hours are 117,919, with 4,844 in PIT. We had 75,696 block hours for April.
- The Company will not be offering any VLOAs for PHL. I did ask for the Company to go back and review to see if they can offer VLOAs.
