The Company announced today the cancellation of all Extended Voluntary Leaves of Absence (EVLOAs). Flight Attendants on leave will be required to ballot a return date of November or December of 2021. The Company will allocate the number of slots available in each of the two months.
348 Flight Attendants are planned to return to Miami. All but 20 Flight Attendants would be subject to serving Reserve based on the August Reserve list. The most senior Reserve in August has an occupational seniority date of 4/26/1987. This is only a comparison to August and does not project the seniority of Reserve in future months.
Additional heads into our base means more flying opportunities for Miami. It is still too early to forecast what impact this will have on vacancy transfers; however, we remain optimistic that the additional flying will create more movement for transfers.
Below is the seniority breakdown of Flight Attendants scheduled to return from their EVLOA. The list is in increments of 50.
