2.02.25 – APFA LAX Base Brief- American Eagle Flight 5342

Sunday, February 2, 2025
As we struggle to cope with the loss of American Eagle flight 5342, just a short message to ask that you be good to yourself. Â This is an exceptionally difficult time for all of us.
We all grieve in different ways. Some meet the source of grief head on. Some bury it.
As flight attendants, we are known for our ability to smile even when our hearts are broken. So many of our members suffer in silence.
Please reach out. You are not alone. We are all human. Despite our inevitable day-to-day differences…at times like these…we are all one.
A trained APFA EAP is available 7 days a week by calling the confidential phone line:

I remain available to you to help you in any way I can. My number is 310-751-6605, and my email is [email protected].
If you need support, please reach out. Again, you are not alone.
We stand by our fallen colleagues…the crew of AA 5342, our brothers and sisters of the air…as well as all of the passengers and their loved ones, family and friends.
