8.16.25 – APFA DFW Base Brief – Integrity and Respect on the Job

Integrity and Respect on the Job

In the fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment of our work, disagreements and misunderstandings can happen. When they do, we encourage you to use Professional Standards, our APFA peer-to-peer resolution program. This resource is designed to address concerns privately and professionally, without unnecessary escalation to management.

When matters are taken directly to the company, even through Ethicspoint, it will trigger a formal investigation. These investigations often involve multiple parties and can quickly become “he said, she said” situations that affect more than just those directly involved. And while some channels may appear anonymous, in reality, they rarely are.
Our goal is to resolve issues at the lowest level possible, preserve working relationships, and maintain the integrity of our crew environment. We each have a responsibility to focus on our own performance, approach others with respect, and work together to keep our flights safe, professional, and cooperative.
We are stronger when we handle our differences with understanding and integrity, crew to crew.
