9.09.25 – APFA BOS Base Brief – Boston 9/11 Remembrance

As we approach the 24th anniversary of 9/11, we invite all Flight Attendants to join us for a remembrance ceremony. September 11th will always be a day that weighs heavily on each of us. Please join your fellow Union Members in a day of remembrance of the lives we lost. We encourage members to wear their uniform if attending the services.

Boston Logan International Airport

Please plan to arrive in the American Event Room adjacent to the Inflight office area not later than 07:45 am.

• 08:00- Team members gather in the Event Room.
• 08:15- Reading of crew member names.
• 08:25- Team members proceed to the B11 gate area.
  • *Please see the Inflight team to sign up to access the ramp if you do not have a SIDA badge.
• 08:46- Gate side flag ceremony, followed by a moment of silence. Prayer led by Fr. Chris O’Connor.
• Following the Gate side flag ceremony, BOS APFA and BOS APA will proceed to the 9/11 Memorial at the Hilton BOS
• Team members are invited to visit the Event Room throughout the day for a moment of reflection.

Due to badging and escort requirements through Massport, BOS Inflight has informed us that only active employees will be able to gain access to the event room and the gate-side flag ceremonies.

We do invite retirees to join APFA Members when we proceed to the 9/11 Memorial at the Hilton BOS. This memorial is off-site and not subject to the same security requirements.
