This week was the December Staffing and Allocations call; December represents the peak of the holiday travel season. December includes both the “critical” dates for attendance, as well as days eligible for holiday incentive pay.

iOS and IFM Requirements on your EFB

• IFM Revision 18.2 is now available on your iPhone EFB. Sync Comply365 on your iPhone EFB to update the IFM to the newest version.
• iOS 26 Requirement in effect on EFB – October 29th

Allocations

Unfortunately, there are still no domestic wide-body trips in Chicago for December – as with last month, we will continue to push for them in January.

December still has no wide-body flights that touch Chicago. Hopefully, in January, the allocations team will find something to help offset our winter IPD reduction.

There is a slight increase in ODANs for December from what we saw in November. The red-eye and ODANs are created when the banks allow for their creation, and there are less banks in winter months.

Staffing

ORD has a reserve percentage of 19.3% for December vs the system average of 19.4%. This is a decrease from December 2024 RSV numbers, where ORD was 20.9%.

There will be 2,786 Lineholders in December.

• 2-day: 26% in December vs 29% in November
• 3-day: 46% in December vs 45% in November
• 4-day: 4% in December vs 3% in November
• ODAN Starts per day: 7.5 in December vs 5.4 in November
