Christine Ferrara
On behalf of the New York Base and the APFA family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Christine’s parents, Kathleen Ferrara and Denis Ferrara; her brothers; her two nieces whom she adored; her extended family; her friends; and the colleagues whose lives she touched so naturally and effortlessly.
Christine was the kind of Flight Attendant every crew member silently hoped to fly with—her steady presence made even the hardest days feel manageable. When a crew list included Christine, she was a reminder that kindness in is powerful even while at work. She lived that truth daily, making every space brighter simply by being in it.
With her passing, New York has lost a part of its core. But we are certain that her spirit—her love, her generosity, and her radiance—continues from a place far better than this one. And without question, she remains forever a part of the APFA family.
Today, funeral services for Christine are being held. For specific details of the services click here.
Christine Ferrara will never be forgotten. To both of us, as her Base President and Vice President, she represented the very best of what it means to serve, to support others, and to carry the spirit of New York with grace. She is, and always will be, one of New York’s best.
In Solidarity,
— Christian M. Santana, Base President
— Megan Blanchard, Base Vice President
Fly high always, Christine—may your wings carry you until we meet again.
