Hotel Assistance at Crew Service Centers

Due to the company’s failure to repair sequences and secure hotel rooms within the contractual guidelines of three (3) hours, APFA has forced the company to find alternatives to booking hotel rooms sooner, even if the sequence has still failed continuity.

If you experience a mid-sequence disruption and the company does not repair your sequence within three (3) hours as required by CBA 10.J.4.c, Crew Service Centers should now assist in providing hotel rooms and transportation.

If Crew Tracking or Scheduling does not make contact, you should go to or call a Crew Service Center to receive hotel and transportation assignments.

Flight Attendants are bearing the brunt of the company’s inability to recover the operation in the aftermath of Winter Storm Fern. Many are stranded with no hotels and broken sequences that the company has been unable to repair.

It is the company’s job to take care of and support you while you are on a trip. The company’s most basic obligation per CBA 6.B is to provide hotel accommodations.

Our Members deserve better.

APFA phone lines are open, and as of 1500CT today,  we have completed 284 calls, with approximately 40 Flight Attendants currently waiting to speak with an APFA Representative. Every Flight Attendant in the APFA phone queue will be helped as quickly as possible.
