VLOA’s were not projected at the time of the call, however some bases will have a small number of VLOA’s offered for the July bid month. If you would like to bid for a VLOA ballots open June 3rd at 1200 CT and close June 7th at 1200 CT.
We continue to address the sit times, which the company said they do not see that getting any better anytime soon. The majority of the sit times are in the larger hubs as the company is trying to build 80 minutes in between segments when there is an aircraft change involved.
The high reserve numbers were also a hot button on the call. The company cited operational difficulties for April and May played a factor in the higher reserve numbers.
