You may have heard about or experienced some technical difficulties with the Membership Negotiations Survey conducted by the University of North Texas (UNT). The volume of Flight Attendants logging on to the UNT servers has played a part in these technical difficulties. While this enthusiasm is very encouraging, it has also caused some frustration. UNT has assured us the issues have been corrected. Therefore, we will be extending the survey by one week. The survey will now be available until Tuesday February 12th at 23:59 CST. Please inform your crews of the extension and encourage anyone who has not completed the survey to log on to www.www.apfa.org and click the ë2008 Negotiations Surveyí link.

This Wednesday, January 30th, the Negotiating team will be calling members who have not completed the survey reminding them of its importance. The survey is comprehensive and a very important next step following the recent Listening Tour to the bases. As we have previously stated – results from this survey will assist the team in formulating contract proposals when we begin bargaining. This is our future. Make sure your interests are represented. Without your participation we cannot proceed successfully.
