Q: Does the JCBA provide for Holiday Pay on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Day? – LAA / LUS

A: Yes. The JCBA provides for a “flat rate” of $75 dollars for any sequence (pairing) that touches any of the above-compensated holidays.
 
Example: if a sequence touches a compensated holiday by one minute, the Holiday Pay will be the full $75.00.  Also, if you have two sequences (pairings) that touch the compensated holiday, you will be paid holiday pay of $75 for each sequence.
 
Example: If you terminate a sequence at crew base on 01JAN at 0700 and have another sequence that departs later that day, you will be paid $75 X 2 = $150. Section 3.J.
